Safety first
Child Safety Policy
OPRealm is designed around a simple rule: kids create privately first, then finished work is reviewed before it can appear publicly.
Our Safety Principles
- Safety guides come before public publishing.
- Creator tools are private by default.
- Public sharing is controlled and reviewed.
- Private contact requests are discouraged and may be blocked.
- AI tools are gated, logged, and restricted to age-appropriate creative use.
Required Safety Foundation
Young creators must complete safety awareness guides before using broader AI tools or public publishing features. The guides teach privacy, passwords, scams, safe chat, bullying, reporting, blocking, healthy screen habits, AI safety, and when to ask a trusted adult for help.
Reviewed Library Controls
- Young creators can create and save work privately before submitting anything for review.
- Public library submissions can be approved, rejected, featured, or removed.
- AI tools are separated by use case and access level.
- Review systems may filter bullying, slurs, unsafe links, private-contact requests, scam language, and unsuitable uploads.
- Safety reports are handled privately by OPRealm staff.
What Kids Must Never Share
- Passwords or login codes.
- Home address, school name, phone number, or exact location.
- Private social media handles or personal contact details.
- Payment information or family account details.
- Photos or information that identify them without parent approval.
Reporting a Concern
Kids are encouraged to use OPREALM reporting tools, tell a parent or guardian, and avoid replying to unsafe messages. Urgent safety concerns should be handled by a trusted adult and, where necessary, local emergency or child safety services.
Parent Involvement
Parents and guardians should review account settings, talk regularly about online safety, and contact OPREALM if they have concerns about library submissions, child privacy, AI usage, or account access.
